Booking information

Is there any charge for cancelling or modifying my booking?

If you have booked your stay through online travel agents such as, Agoda or Traveloka, kindly contact them directly on cancellation policy. If you made your booking directly with us, any cancellation received less than 48 hours prior to arrival will not be refunded. Failure to check in at our hotel over 12 hours will be treated as No-Show and will not be refunded.

What if I want to cancel or modify my bookings?

If you have made your booking directly with online travel agents such as, Agoda or Traveloka etc, please contact them to cancel or modify your booking. Kindly take note that your booking deposits are managed by them and may not be refundable. If you made your booking directly with us, please let us know by email at or call us on +65 6610-1585.

Checking in and Checking out

How late can I check in at night?

Please note that there will be no manager on duty between 12am and 7am. If you’re arriving at iStay.inn during these hours, please contact us at and we will do our best to assist you with your check-in.

What are the check-out and check-in times?

Our check-out time is at or before 12pm (noon) and our check-in time is at or after 3.00pm.
Luggage of our early arriving guests can be stored at iStay.inn at no cost before official check-in
time. If you have a late flight to catch on the day of your check out, we will do our best to keep your bags for you at no additional cost.


Is sharing of beds allowed? Can guests request to add an extra bed in the room?

Bed sharing is not allowed. Due to space limitation, accommodation for extra bed is subject to the consent from reservation team.

If I book a whole room or dorm, can I bring in extra guests to stay?

For safety and security reasons, extra guests are not allowed to stay in a room with a specified capacity.

Can we bring children?

Children below the age of 12 are not encouraged to stay at iStay.inn, due to safety and security concerns. However, as families traveling together, it is possible to book a family room to yourselves. If you plan to bring young children, we strongly recommend that you drop us an email for the necessary arrangement to be made early. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their children’s safety. We seek your understanding that iStay.inn does not take responsibility for any mishaps or accidents that might occur.

Besides the room rates, are there any hidden charges?

There are no hidden charges. However, all guests are encouraged to pay a refundable key deposit of S$10 upon checking in. This fee is to facilitate the safety and to cover against any damage to the property may be incurred. Your deposit will be refunded to you upon check-out.

Other amenities and services

Do you have laundry service?

Laundry service is available at iStay.inn at a nominal fee. If you need laundry service, please send to our reception before 11am. Laundry is usually returned the next morning.

Do your dorms come with attached en suite bathroom?

We have only one 4-bed room with an attached bathroom. Early booking is highly recommended.

What do you provide for breakfast?

We provide simple continental breakfast which includes fresh toast, butter, jam, peanut butter. It is served from 7am to 10am. Coffee and tea is available all day.

Do you provide individual reading light and power point in the room?

Yes, every bed comes with an individual reading light and a power point for your convenience.

Do you provide toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers and etc?

Toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers and etc are available on request at a nominal charge. Please contact our reception for further information.

Do you provide towels and blankets?

One blanket is provided free for use during your stay at iStay.inn. Towels are available at a nominal charge for use during your stay.

Can I leave my luggage at the hostel while I continue traveling in the region?

We will do our best to find space for storing your luggage within a short period of time. Storage service on prolong period is provided at a nominal fee.

Are there any lockers in the hostel?

You are free to use the locker provided in our rooms. For security, we advise that you bring your lock along. You may also buy a lock from our reception at a nominal fee.
